KOMPAN is on an exciting journey in the name of sustainability, and we are and have been working for many years to find solutions where we replace virgin products with recyclable products in our terminology Made Green and Born Green, which are considered sustainable products from birth. 

We are facing new requirements within ESG/sustainability and in relation to this, we need to go through a process where we:

• Map our current ESG reporting landscape.
• Prepare to implement new requirements as a result of CSRD. 
• Undergo a double materiality analysis.
• Identify GAPs between current reporting and future reporting.
• Roadmap implementation of GAPs.

Finance is the link in the process, but many departments are involved, as they each have ownership within Environmental, Social and Governance. 

Your role in the internship will be to act as an assistant on the project. You will have the opportunity to be part of the entire initial project and possibly some of the implementation and will thus gain knowledge of the entire process. Further, you will gain knowledge of how several departments work together to achieve the ESG strategy and reporting.

After the internship, there might be an opportunity to continue your journey in KOMPAN - first, as a Student Assistant and next, as a potential permanent employee.
