Citi Bank Internship Program Overview

Citibank celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2012. While it been a long, rough road at times, they are proud of their contributions. Citibank was founded in 1812 in New York. Currently, it has branches in 19 countries, including Pakistan, India, UAE, Russia and Poland.

As with most banks during the 2007-2008 financial crisis, things were tough for Citibank. Their parent, Citigroup, received a massive bailout from the U.S. Treasury to stay afloat.
