Starbucks was founded in Seattle, Washington and in the year of 1971. Within the year 2019, Starbucks has explored the map and has spread stores with 30,000 locations worldwide.

Within this, Starbucks has been named the “second wave of coffee”, this is a movement that gave people an admiration of the artisan coffee, particularly the dark-roasted blend.

When the 2000s struck, people have seen the third wave coffee makers being designed and developed.

In December 2016, Howard Schultz had publicly announced worldwide that he was resigning as CEO when April 2017 had come.

To replace him was Kevin Johnson to become the new CEO on April 3rd, 2017 making Howard Schultz former CEO and Chairman Emeritus.
