William Blair Investment Banking Summer Analyst and Associate Internships There are a lot of opportunities in the 10-week internship program provided by William Blair Investment Bank. Interns, there are exposed at an early stage in their careers to the different faces of business in investment banking. There are usually two categories of internships available at William Blair – Summer Analyst and Summer Associate Internships. The Summer Analyst interns gain the first-hand experience of what it is like to be a full-time analyst. They are expected to perform tasks like financial modeling and company research. Summer Associate interns have more responsibility than the Summer Analyst interns. Associate interns are expected to work hand in hand with professionals already employed full-time at William Blair. Their responsibility includes working on live transactions, deal execution and business development.
Eligibility
Candidates must have nearly completed their bachelor’s or MBA degree. They must also possess an understanding of finance, have strong analytical and quantitative skills, and a willingness to move to one of either the Boston, Charlotte, Chicago or San Francisco offices.Compensation / Benefits
