The Wall Street Journal Internship Program Overview

Students with reporting and writing backgrounds are encouraged to apply to the Wall Street Journal Arts in Review department. Interns will work alongside editors, and opinion writes and gain hands-on experience in this newsroom. Students should be able to multi-task, meet daily deadlines, and pay attention to detail when working on The Wall Street Journal. Students should be familiar with technology as it relates to journalism. Interns will cover the full spectrum, from high art to TV, movies, theater, and many forms of popular music. Interns will review things because they are intrinsically interesting and not to fill a quota.

Eligibility

Junior, seniors, and recent graduates can apply. Applicants should have experience in editing arts or arts-related content for their college newspaper, literary magazine, or comparable publication.

Compensation / Benefits

This internship last ten weeks during the summer, where interns will be paid.
