The Boston Globe Newsroom Summer Internship Overview

For over 50 years, The Boston Globe has allowed college students to gain practical experience at a major news organization. Interns will work in the News Department as a general reporter. Interns can be hired to work in sports, living/arts, and the business department. Interns will work primarily in Metro during their 12-weeks at The Boston Globe. Interns will participate in a weekly critique session for the reporting interns and be apart of a lively weekly discussion with editors and staff members. There will be a range of topics and issues discussed pertaining to journalism.

Eligibility

Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate program and be graduating seniors. Enrolled journalist graduates can also apply.

Compensation / Benefits

Interns will work 12-weeks as full-time employees and are paid a weekly wage.
