The Los Angeles Times Summer Internship is a 10-week intensive program where interns will gain hands-on experience in a region where big stories flourish. Interns will be placed in a variety of departments, including Metro and Local, Arts and Entertainment, Sports, Politics, Business, Features, Foreign/National, Editorial pages, Photography and Video, Data and Graphics, Design, and Digital/Engagement. The internship is paid, and placement usually runs between June to late August. Internships are only running in the summer session.
Applicants must be working on their undergraduate or graduate degree. Recent college graduates have six months after their graduation date to apply for an internship. Students must not have any professional work under their belt.
The internship runs for ten weeks during the summer, and interns are paid for their time.
