Goldman Sachs Internship Program Overview

Goldman Sachs is a multinational investment bank and financial services company. Its goal to utilize talent and commit capital to help clients discover solutions, while rewarding shareholders.

The firm has four major business segments: Investment banking, Institutional client services, Investment & Lending, and Investment management. Founded in 1869, the company has enjoyed explosive growth and serves clients across the globe and has offices in all major financial cities.

In the past decade, Goldman Sachs has donated more than $1.6 billion to philanthropic initiatives. Interns looking for unique opportunities to expand their knowledge about the financial industry won’t be disappointed. Goldman Sachs has crafted a comprehensive intern program that allows students to work side-by-side the experts.

Their philosophy is: interns learn by immersion; they don’t simply observe. They get involved in actual projects. To help students get prepared for work in the real world, recruiters visit a host of colleges and university across the US.

They sponsor career fairs, mock interviews and arrange office visits. Students interested in working on the trading floor or in wealth management will find many such opportunities.

Goldman Sachs fosters an inclusive work environment and are committed to helping employees – even interns – maximize their potential. The length of most internships is 6-12 weeks.
